Changes to the CSA S406 standard have provided new opportunities for the use of permanent wood foundations across Canada. This two-day course is designed to provide builders, contractors, engineers, architects and building officials with updated information on the design and construction of permanent wood foundations based on the new Canadian Standards Association standard: S406-16 Specification of Permanent Wood Foundations for Housing and Small Buildings.

Wood Preservation Canada in conjunction with the Canadian Wood Council and Yukon College are pleased to have Gary Gibson (Sure-West Engineering Consultants) with over 40 years of experience and Tex McLeod (McLeod & Associates) provide participants with practical knowledge surrounding the design and construction of permanent wood foundations.
